New Wavefunction Music
About this project. Compose "new wave" music with quantum circuits! New Wavefunction Music began as a playful side project after a conversation with a friend about the analogies between science and art: quantum circuits have structure, rhythm, layers, and transformations, much like music.
This tool is meant as a creative way to make quantum computing feel more approachable. I hope it inspires students, artists, physicists, musicians, and anyone curious about quantum information to explore how abstract scientific ideas can be translated into sound, pattern, and play.
Click a staff-wire cell to place the selected gate, then press Play to hear the circuit. CNOT, SWAP, and Toffoli gates connect multiple registers like chords spanning multiple staves; measurements fall into the classical register as the bass line.
